Dr. Phil Gaudin was born and raised in Victoria, where he completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Victoria. In 2005, he received the Degree for Doctor of Dental Medicine, from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia.  After graduation, he moved back to Victoria to practice dentistry as an associate, where he had the opportunity to perform all aspects of dentistry on patients of all ages.

He has been dedicated to attending continuing education courses for general and cosmetic dentistry in order to keep up to date with the current standards. He continuously strives to provide patients with the highest quality dentistry while making them feel comfortable during treatment.

Spending most of his life on the West Coast he was drawn by the natural beauty and scenery of Whistler. He was very excited to have the opportunity to work and live within the Whistler community.  In addition, the wide variety of both winter and summer activities was appealing as he has always enjoyed participating in sports and outdoor activities.

After taking ownership of Creekside Dental in 2007 it has been his priority to make the office the best it can be.  By relocating the office and building a new modern clinic, he wanted to make sure that Creekside Dental is there for the future of the community.  He is pleased to say, throughout his time in Whistler he has already seen patients getting married, having children, kids growing up and many other accomplishments.  "It is exciting to experience these milestones in our patient’s lives.  My wife and I are proud to call Whistler home and excited to have a family in such a great community. I look forward to meeting lots of new people and providing the community with all their oral health care needs."

Dr. Julian Truong was born and raised in Prince Rupert, BC. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia in 2008, he attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry from 2008-2012 in Detroit, Michigan. His experience in Detroit furthered his knowledge in treating and managing complex dental cases with immuno-compromised patients, as well as working with families from underprivileged communities.

Dr. Truong has worked as an Associate Dentist at Creekside Dental since 2012. He was immediately drawn to Whistler for it’s amazing scenery, tight-knit community, and his love for the mountains. He has an interest in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry and continues to expand his knowledge in the areas of Implantology and Oral Surgery. He strives to further his expertise and skill in the practice of dentistry by taking Continuing Education courses and attending regional dental conferences annually.

In his free time, he enjoys working out at CrossFit and snowboarding the world renowned trails of Whistler-Blackcomb. He is proud to call Whistler home and is excited to share his love for dentistry through his work at Creekside Dental.

Dental Hygienists:

Nikki is from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario and has called Whistler home for over 10 years.  She has been a dental hygienist for 10+ yrs in the Sea to Sky corridor, and worked as a dental assistant for 3 yrs prior to that.  She loves the outdoors and adventures.  Her love to travel and meet different people from around the world keeps her on the go.  Last April she combined her love for people, dental and travel when she volunteered on a dental mission to Bhutan, in the Himalayan mountains.  It was such an amazing life changing experience that she is presently fundraising to go for a second mission this October.  Her love for the  mountains and ocean keep her smiling while she spends her spare time snowboarding and surfing.

She has practiced dental hygiene for the past 13 years and has been with Creekside Dental since 2002. Her passion for her work makes her dedicated to helping patients achieve optimum oral health.

Her greatest love is for her four legged furry friends and the great outdoors. Summer months lends time for biking, hiking and sitting at the local lakes. Skate skiing and ski touring keep her busy during the winter season.
